During the week of October 19th-23rd the district is celebrating STEM/STEAM week with a series of live streamed content,contests and collaborative STEAM focused lessons in the elementary schools with the digital learning team which support student engagement in person and at home.

Chromebook Insurance Details and Deadline
Hello Parents/Guardians,
Please note that the window for purchasing insurance for 4th and 5th grade student devices is winding down and we encourage all Parents/Guardians to consider purchasing device insurance to avoid costly repairs on your students Chromebook.

Insurance Covers: Accidental Damage,Liquid Submersion,Cracked Screen,Theft, Burglary & Robbery,Power Surge,Vandalism, Mechanical Failure, Manufacturer Defect
Insurance is for 4 years and follows the students device with them as they move forward in grades.

Chromebook Home Troubleshooting Document

Clever Family Portal Update
Parents will soon be receiving an email from the "Clever Family Portal" This is a component of Clever which provides parents access to the students portal and their available resources.
For younger students I hope this feature enhances parents ability to access their student’s account and access. For older students this can provide some transparency of the resources used in the schools and some of the supportive Digital Learning resources available.
